Since January of 1998, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada Inc. (TMMC) has offered complimentary plant tours. Thousands of people take advantage of the tour program here at TMMC each year where they are able to watch our Team Members and Robots build the Matrix CUV, Corolla 4 Door Sedan and the Lexus RX 350 SUV.
Upon arrival at TMMC, visitors are welcome to browse our state-of the-art Visitors' Centre which features products made at TMMC as well as interactive displays. The tour program consists of a 10 minute video presentation about TMMC, its history and manufacturing methods. Following the video presentation, visitors embark on a 45 minute motorized tram tour through our Welding and Assembly shops.
The total time of each tour is approximately 1 hour.
