Toyota Privacy Information
Toyota in Canada which includes Toyota Canada Inc. ("TCI"),
Toyota Credit Canada Inc. ("TCCI") (operating as Toyota
Financial Services) and Toyota dealers (the "Dealers"),
and their respective affiliates respect your right to privacy.
We recognize that you have provided, and will, from time to time
be providing us with personal information ("Information")
such as your name and contact information, information relating
to sales and service transactions and if you have applied or are
applying for credit, information regarding your financial status
and employment. In addition to this required Information, you
may have also provided, or be providing, optional Information,
such as information about your purchase patterns and personal
preferences and your demographics.
How Do We Use the Information?
As part of our on-going sales and service relationship with you,
we use, disclose and retain your Information for the purposes
of completing sales, service and credit transactions with you,
responding to your requests for products, services and information,
improving our products and services, better understanding your
automotive needs and including you in marketing campaigns, all
as described in more detail as follows.
Limiting our use and disclosure of your Information
If you prefer that we do not use or disclose your Information
for any or all of these purposes you may notify us of such at
any time, subject to any legal or contractual restrictions, by
contacting us as indicated at the end of this brochure. If you
do not notify us, we will consider you to have consented to our
continued use and disclosure of your Information for these purposes.
A notification that we not use or disclose your Information for
certain of these purposes may affect our ability to provide you
with products and services.
Our use and disclosure of your Information
for marketing purposes
We may use and disclose to each other your Information (other
than financial information) for the purposes of selectively including
you in those advertising and marketing campaigns designed to increase
the awareness of Toyota brand products and services and those
advertising and marketing campaigns designed to promote the goodwill
associated with our businesses which we believe will be of interest
to you. Some of our advertising and marketing campaigns include
sending out newsletters, service reminders and promotional offers.
Our use and disclosure of your Information
for required purposes
We may use, share among us and disclose to the third parties
described below, any or all of the Information we have collected
to the extent that its use and disclosure are necessary for us
and the third parties described to accomplish the following purposes:

If applicable, TCI including the Dealers will share your
Information to administer your new vehicle warranty coverage,
and/or your Extra Care Protection coverage; and as required
by law.

TCCI may disclose your Information to third parties such
as credit reporting agencies to assess your application
for credit and obtain a credit report about you;

TCCI may verify your Information with third parties such
as your bank and employer, credit reporting agencies and
other credit providers to confirm the Information you provided
to us in support of your application for credit, including
employment and banking information, or to update such Information;

TCCI may exchange your Information with credit reporting
agencies and other credit providers for the purpose of providing
them with information regarding your lease or loan contract;

TCCI may disclose your Information to third parties such
as collection agencies to monitor, service and collect any
amounts owed by you to TCCI;

TCCI may disclose your Information to third parties such
as banks and brokerage firms to effect a transfer or assignment
of TCCI's interest in any lease or loan contract entered
into with you, and for the subsequent collection, use and
disclosure of your Information by such third parties to
manage or otherwise deal with your lease or loan contract;

to your request for products, services or information, improve
the quality and efficiency of the services, information
and products we provide to you, including asking you, directly
or indirectly, through marketing information firms such
as J.D. Power and Associates and Maritz Research, to reply
