Performance Built to Reach the Peak

Features that Make it a Force

Everything on the 4Runner points towards performance. Like the new available Stabilizer Bar Disconnect Mechanism that helps navigate across tough terrain easily. With the touch of a button, the stabilizer increases suspension articulation. This feature allows the vehicle to flex while helping keep tires in contact with the trail.

Powerful Hybrid Powertrain

Available on the TRD Off-Road and standard on the TRD Pro, Trailhunter and Platinum models, the 4Runner delivers serious performance with an available i-FORCE MAX 2.4L turbocharged hybrid engine, providing up to 326 net combined horsepower and 465 in.-ft. of torque. And the 8-speed automatic transmission and up to 6000 lb (2721 kg) maximum towing capacity* mean you take what you want where you want, with ease.

Trail Ready in Every Respect

Rugged capability is what the 4Runner is all about, it’s being offered in part-time 4WD or full-time 4WD, both mated to an electronically controlled two-speed transfer case. And the available multi-terrain select system offers adjustable settings for a variety of terrain, like mud, dirt and sand.

Disclaimer

*Provincial towing laws may require the installation of towing brakes in order to safely tow. Before towing, confirm what laws affect you, and whether, if required, your vehicle can accommodate towing brakes. Make sure your vehicle and trailer are compatible, hooked up and loaded properly and that you have any necessary additional equipment. If gross trailer weight is above 5,000 lb (2,268 kg), it is necessary to use a weight-distributing hitch with sufficient capacity. Do not exceed any Weight Ratings and follow all instructions and cautions from your trailer-hitch manufacturer and in your Owner’s Manual. The maximum you can tow depends on base curb weight plus the total weight of any cargo, occupants, and added vehicle equipment. “Added vehicle equipment” includes additional standard/optional equipment and accessories added by the manufacturer, dealers, and/or vehicle owners. The only way to be certain of your vehicle’s exact curb weight is to weigh your vehicle without passengers or cargo.

If your vehicle is equipped with a kick sensor, installation of a tow hitch receiver or other accessories located near the rear bumper may require disabling or removing the kick sensor, and the sensor operation setting in your vehicle should be turned off. See Owner’s Manual for limitations.

Design A Classic, Designed for Today

360 Degrees of Incredible Design

From any angle, the 4Runner has been designed to impress. Showcasing an all-new dynamic and athletic look, the 4Runner’s exterior broad frame maintains its iconic presence. It’s a vehicle that’s as eye-catching as it is sturdy, perfect for a night out on the town or for setting off on an adventurous journey.

Classic Touches, Perfect for an Icon

The overall look of the 4Runner evokes its iconic past, but that’s just the beginning. From the distinct lines of the 4Runner’s body to the classic power rear window, everything about this all-new vehicle already seems legendary.

The Power Rear Window Returns

While everything about the 4Runner is forward-looking, there is one place where we think you’ll enjoy looking backward just a little. The 4Runner’s classic rear power rear window is back, and better than you remember it. In fact, it may just be your new power rear window to the world.
